Worried about your business accounts or your taxation liability?

Well-experienced and mature accountant, management consultant and college lecturer is now semi-retired, and able to give you guidance and support dealing with your business or income records, and to help you understand your UK taxation liability. All the services are priced at very reasonable charges.

Am located on the beautiful Isle of Wight, offshore from Portsmouth, South Coast UK.

Obviously, I'm best able to help people who are prepared to deal with their matters by email, telephone etc, and who are prepared to travel to the South Coast should a face-to-face conference be needed.

With businesses, have been employed by some of the largest (Avis Rent A Car, Bristol Myers, Roussel Pharmaceuticals, Alenco Group; part of Charterhouse), some of the smallest, and freelance since 1979.

My freelance customers have included a Private Ambulance, Coaches, Mini-buses and disabled holidays provider that is very successful market leader, a chain of jewellers that just grew and grew until taken over by a large plc, likewise an exhibition furniture hire business, an entertainment agency, motor mechanics, pest control, printers and all sorts of small businesses.

So, is your business less profiltable than it should be? Any activity that earns money can be regarded for tax purposes as a business. It doesn't have to be an incorporated Limited company to be a business.

Hopefully, you earn a reasonable income. Are you recording all the associated allowable and deductible costs relevant to that activity? Too many businesses are only good at recording their income, not expenses.

Are all your products or activities worthwhile? How do you decide? Have you a marketing or business plan?

Is your cashflow a nightmare? Are you sliding into insolvency? Do you know if your business is performing in line with your plan? Or are you just fire-fighting and trying to survive?

Do you know what your tax liability is going to be? Have you planned ahead to cope with it?

Enough of questioning you! Why not contact me, to have a confidential , no-strings, chat?

Obviously, I'm not in the business of dispensing free advice willy-nilly, so don't interrogate me, I'm busy too!

Email me at ken.midas@gmail.com. I will add my mobile and landline numbers, but e-mail is fine for now!
